Great for a family outing and lots of history here

We went on the guided tour and the guide was very well versed in the history of the plantation.

Beautiful historical gem. Great insights into the sugar plantation times. Informative with the guided or unguided tour. Nice gift shop and mini museum. $7 for unguided tour, $11 guided.

Great little historic stop. It's very open and you lead your own way, but they do have good informational pamphlets and displays. Gorgeous land with a scenic creek and lovely pecan grove!

Not much to see here besides the main house. However, you have to take the tour to look inside of it. The grounds are very beautiful with the soft grass, plentiful trees and the Spanish moss hanging down from the trees.
